Why are synthetic planting canes from AMEVO so durable?

The diameter of the tube, the thickness of the steel and coating have been the same for decades.

Only with AMEVO's synthetic planting canes, the pointed plastic cap is attached into the tube via a patented process.

The coating is made out of virgin material, thus securing that it meets the highest standards This is tested by means of a 6 month long durability test at 50° C UV light.

The can be cleaned in a steam cleaning machine because they can resist heating up to 70° C for a duration of 2 hours.

Use of synthetic planting canes

Planting canes can be used for a variety of purposes. The fact that they do not rust makes them very suitable for hydroculture, cultivations on glass wool, but also in open field and pot cultures. They are also commonly used in seed propagation. The most used size in propagation is the 210 cm long cane with a thickness of 11 mm. Viruses and contaminations are absolutely prohibited in seed propagation. The possibility to clean our planting canes at high temperatures is an essential advantage that our canes provide.

Tip: The plant support ring with a diameter of 35-50 cm combines perfectly with this size cane and ensures that the plant is guided well.

A fun fact is that our planting canes are also very popular with balloon shops. They use them to create arches and columns. The little studs do ensure that the balloons stay in place.

Fibersticks

These black fibersticks are the ideal replacement for split bamboo. The are hollow and cut diagonally on one side. This makes it easy to stick them in to planting pots, they are especially  useful with orchids. It is an outgoing product, so available while stocks last.
